Today I noticed a tweet about the chinese building a secure OS supposely to be targeted at an upcoming cyberwar.
I thought it was interesting, so I googled the name Kylin ( which is the name of the project ) and found kylin.org.cn which was in Chinese.
Obviously, I don’t speak chinese. So I used the translate function in google, and browsed the website a minute or five until I found a URL which should download the OS. After clicking it, it did not download the OS but threw a SQL error:
It definitly seems to be the ID tag in the download manager the use, but I have not investigated it further and don’t want to either.
I just thought it was ironic and share it with you: A website from a new and secure OS which potentially could be exploited
